Ginger Lemongrass
Ingredients - Organically grown lemongrass & ginger Our loose-leaf organically grown Ginger Lemongrass is made from pure, hand-cut lemongrass with intense lemon and mint flavours combined with fresh plantation ginger. This delectable herbal tea is prepared by hand from our tea garden and organic farm, 1000m above the Ravana Waterfalls in the Uva mountains of Sri Lanka. At note from Ashok - 'I grew up on a tea plantation. But I aways dreamed of becoming an inventor. At Amba Estate, we needed a machine to cut the lemongrass better. So I made one, using only things I could find in the area. My chopper cuts the lemongrass perfectly every time. Im honoured to share this with you.' Ashok Ginger Lemongrass tea is a great caffeine free option for any time of the day and is known for its calming properties and its ability to reduce anxiety & stress. |

The Fire Chai
Ingredients - black tea, chilli, pepper, cinnamon, clove, coriander, fennel & ginger If you’re looking for a very special savoury brew, you’ve come to the right place. We call this Fire Chai. Think of a warm fire, not a raging fire... warming, not burning hot. The Fire Chai story - 'Here at Amba Estate we grow spices alongside our tea. After plucking the tea leaves, we let them wither at room temperature before gently hand-rolling them in small batches against a traditional kithul wood table to create our broken orange pekoe. We harvest our cinnamon sticks by hand, the way they've always done. Then we strip the bark by hand with a sickle, because we know this produces the richest flavours. Finally we combine the spices with our tea leaves to make this aromatic, spicy chai that I'm very proud to share with you' - Neethanjana, Amba Estate If you would normally go for a spicy chai, over a sweet chai tea, you’ll love this batch. Like fine wines our teas vary according to the terrier, cultivation and season. Sumudu Chai
Ingredients - black tea, organic cinnamon, ginger and cloves If you love a sweet aromatic Chai, you might want to add this one to your cart! The story of Sumudu Chai - 'Here at Amba Estate we grow spices alongside our tea. After plucking the tea leaves, we let them wither at room temperature before gently hand-rolling them in small batches against a traditional kithul wood table to create our broken orange pekoe. We harvest our cinnamon sticks by hand, the way we've always done. Then we strip the bark by hand with a sickle, because we know this produces the richest flavours. Finally we combine the spices with our tealeaves to make this of, sweet chai that I'm very proud to share with you.' - Neethanjana, Amba Estate Sumudu Chai loose can be enjoyed without milk and is also ideal for those who like to add some milk to their tea. Wild Spicy TeaIngredients - wild black Ceylon tea, wild cardamon, wild clove Wild Spicy Tea is a smooth, aromatic loose leaf black tea, made from leaves plucked high above the surrounding Sri Lankan landscape.
Our Wild Spicy Tea is a take on the original Wild Forest Tea - with a very special addition - we’ve added wild grown spices, cardamon and clove to create a thoughtfully blended, special wild variety. The story of Wild Spicy -'I have two passions in life. Nature and tea. I started as a tea planter. I worked every day, learning new ways to grow tea in tune with nature. And then five years ago, my wife & I bought a 150 year old abandoned tea plantation. I called it Forest Hill. Everything we do is working with nature, not against it. And the wild tea we produce here is the best expression of the nature it grows within. My wife & I are proud to share out with you.' - Buddika, Forest Hill Classic Green Tea
